Thanksgiving Eve

My favorite time of the year has finally arrived... the holiday season! The leaves have finished changing colors and are saying goodbye to their branches in preparation for the winter. Halloween decorations have been locked away and Christmas decorations are making their reappearance after a long year in the back of the closet. And it's a time when you get to be with all of your loved ones.

The longer I have been away from home, the more I have grown to appreciate my family. That's why I love this season. Relatives from near and far convene at my house or at my grandma's and there's good food and presents and fun. And when you're with my family, there's never a dull moment.

Let's not forget about the much needed break from classes as well [Hallelujah!]. After Thanksgiving all that's left is finals and then Christmas and a brand new year full of brand new possibilities and resolutions that won't get completed.

But anyway, I'm going to post every single day while I'm home for Thanksgiving break this week and weekend. Since I took another hiatus I feel like I owe you and I definitely have more time than I've had in awhile. As Thanksgiving Eve slowly makes its departure, hug your friends and family tight if they're near or shoot them a text or phone call just to say 'I love you.' You never know when it will be your last chance.
